Didactic 是一个有些容易与 dialectic （辩证法；辩证的）相混淆的单词。该词源自古希腊语didaktikos（善于教学的），17世纪中期经法语didactique进入英语后，最初仅是一个中性词表示“教学的、教导的、用于教学的”。随后开始用来特指“道德说教的”，常作正式用语使用，主要用来形容那些把道德教育作为隐秘的动机进行教导的著作、演讲等，
