Requisite 是一个与熟词 require 同源的单词，都源自于拉丁语requirere（设法了解、询问、要求）。其中 requisite 于15世纪中期经requirere的过去分词requisitus进入英语后，即用来表示“必需的、必备的、必不可少的”，常作正式用语使用且一般仅用在名词前，主要指因事物的性质、预期的目标、所要取得的结果、特定的情况或法规等而应有的或必不可少的需要，通常是来自外部或官方的强制要求，而非任意的要求，
